About Me

Moving slowly, but still breaking stuff!

I'm a 50-something bloke (closer to 60 than I'd like to admit) splitting my time between the rain of Ireland and the sun of Axarquía, Andalucía.

By day, I build websites and handle digital marketing for a roster of clients, something I've been doing since 2001. By night (and on weekends), I try to get as far away from the screen as possible.

This blog is where I document that other life. It's a collection of stories about tinkering with bicycles and motorbikes, navigating the quirks of life in Spain, and attacking various DIY jobs with far more enthusiasm than skill. Plus the occasional rant (most of which get deleted once I've calmed down).

I try to live by one simple rule: I'm fine with regretting things I've done, but I never want to regret the things I didn't get around to trying.

I'm married, with two grown-up daughters and three dogs, who generally look on with mild confusion (my wife and daughters that is, the dogs mostly just want to be walked).
